Description of Services
Engine Tuning-
is the adjustment,
modification or design of internal
combustion engines to yield optimal
performance, to increase an engine's power output, economy, or durability.
Setting the idle speed, fuel/air mixture,
carburetor balance, spark plug and distributor point gaps, and ignition timing
On modern engines, equipped with electronic
ignition and fuel injection, some of these tasks are automated, although they
still require monitoring and periodic calibration.
Electronic Fuel injection -
is a
system for mixing fuel
with air in an internal
combustion engine. It is designed and
calibrated specifically for the type(s) of fuel it will handle. The fuel
injector consist of a nozzle and a valve: the power to inject the
fuel comes from a pump
or a pressure container farther back in the fuel supply.
An
anti-lock braking system, or ABS
- is a safety system which prevents the wheels
on a motor
vehicle from locking up (or ceasing to
rotate) while braking.
A rotating road wheel
allows the driver to maintain steering control under heavy braking by
preventing a skid
and allowing the wheel to continue interacting attractively with the road surface as directed by driver steering inputs
Power windows and Door
Locks - are automobile windows
and door locks which can raised/lowered or luck/unlock by depressing a
button or switch,
as opposed to using a hand-turned crank
handle or the push down knob
for the door locks. In a typical installation, there is an individual switch
at each window and a set of switches in the driver's door or a-frame pillar,
so the driver can operate all the windows and door locks.
Drivability Diagnostics -
is an overall
report of the automobiles road worthiness. We will test drive the vehicle,
inspect the engine and parts as well as the overall condition
of the vehicle. We will also suggested any needed repairs and maintenance.
Clutch Service -
It generally uses
a driver-operated clutch,
typically operated by a pedal or lever, for regulating torque
transfer from the internal
combustion engine to the transmission,
and a gear-shift,
operated by hand.
Transmission Repair and service
- In motor vehicle applications, the transmission
will generally be connected to the crankshaft
of the engine. The output of the transmission is transmitted via drive shaft to one or more differentials,
which in turn drive the wheels. While a differential may also provide gear
reduction, its primary purpose is to change the direction of rotation..
Engine Service and Repairs -
A vehicle's engine is unquestionably one of the
most important parts of every vehicle. For this reason, car and engine
manufacturing companies have been focusing all their efforts towards designing
and creating highly powerful, efficient and high performance engines. But the
complexity of the engine as a whole is just one thing. The quality and
performance of every part and auxiliary parts of a car's engine is equally an
important basis for the performance of an engine.
To be able to convert gasoline, or diesel in the
case of diesel engines, effectively to motion, an engine should be equipped
with well designed and properly functioning engine parts. Of special
importance is the design of the cylinder head, the pistons and the piston
rings, which are the main components of the combustion process. Also of
primary importance are the various valves responsible for injecting fuel and
allowing combustion by products to get out of the cylinder. Along with them
are other engine parts like camshafts, crankshafts, oil pumps and others are
also important for your engine's maximum output.
Brake Service and Repairs
- When the brake is pushed the caliper
containing piston
pushes the pad towards the brake
disc which slows the wheel down. On the brake
drum it is similar as the cylinder
pushes the brake
shoes towards the drum which also slows
the wheel down. All this parts have to work with assure precision and continuous
use leads to ware and tare of this parts.
Cooling System (radiator) Service and
Repairs - The cooling system on liquid-cooled cars
circulates a fluid through pipes and passageways in the engine. As this liquid
passes through the hot engine it absorbs heat, cooling the engine. After the
fluid leaves the engine, it passes through a heat exchanger, or radiator,
which transfers the heat from the fluid to the air blowing through the
exchanger.
Wheel alignment -
is part of
standard automobile maintenance
that consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are set to
the car maker's specification. The purpose of these adjustments is to reduce tire
wear, and to ensure that vehicle-travel is straight and true (without
"pulling" to one side).
Electrical Diagnostics and
Repairs - Electrical diagnostics software interfaces
with your vehicle's engine control computer
(ECU) to provide real-time
diagnostics and troubleshooting data. Auto diagnostics software can reset the check
engine light (CEL) in the dash, pull trouble codes stored in the ECU, and
narrow down potential causes for problems. It can also be a useful tool for
automotive maintenance.
Registered State Emission Facility
- Arizona Department of Environmental Quality
administers a mandatory vehicle emissions testing and repair program known as
Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP). VEIP emphasizes the importance of
maintaining vehicle performance to lower emissions and extend the life of one
of your most valuable assets - your car. .
Pre-Purchase Vehicle Evaluation
- We will provide you with some peace of
mind that the vehicle you're considering buying or selling is safe and
reliable by a thorough evaluation performed by a completely unbiased
Automotive Service Technician.
Air Conditioning Service and Repairs-
The automotive air conditioner combines the
refrigeration system with an air-distribution system and a temperature-control
system to cool, clean, dry, and circulate passenger-compartment air. Cooling
is provided by a mechanical vapor-compression refrigeration system with five
major components: compressor, condenser, refrigerant flow-control valve,
evaporator, and a receiver or accumulator that includes a desiccant.
Smog Check- A
smog
check is a test done on the exhaust system of a motor vehicle to determine how
many pollutants, and of which type, the vehicle is emitting. The smog check
also includes an assessment of other parts of the vehicle to make sure that
they are in working order, especially those parts which pertain to emissions
control.
Transmission, coolant, brake and power
steering flushes -
The transmission, coolant, brake and power
steering flushes is a process that makes it possible to clear the majority of
old fluids from the transmission,
cooling system, brakes and power steering systems of a motor
vehicle. This process also helps to remove residue of older fluids from the
converters, coolers, and cooler lines that often are part of the many components
of this systems. The benefit of conducting a regular systems flushing
point to several ways that the function and life of this component
systems may be enhanced.
